The team at Dr.Tabors dental office are ALL excellent! The dental techs there are skilled & great too. Not only is everyone there kind, but very professional, friendly and always helpful for anything that I need. This visit, after my teeth cleaning and X-rays, the hygienist coordinated with the dentist and the office manager, to have a CT scan done in order for the dentist to evaluate my bone strength , etc. for implants. They all work so well together to get everything done ! I didn’t have to go back for a second appointment to have all of this extra done. The excellent hygienist has been there for some time and she is the BEST! She does much more than anyone I’ve had clean my teeth in past. She does a thorough examination of my entire mouth, glands, teeth, gums. She educates me in preventing problems and healing the problems I have. She is a wonderful person and highly skilled! The office manager does everything there! Communication is great and she is always kind and informative.

I have nothing but good things to say about my dental office. They called me into my appointment on time. The woman who cleaned my teeth was very good - both thorough and gentle. Advised areas I should pay special attention to I order to prevent tartar buildup. She also suggested that I use a fluoride mouth rinse at night because I have many crowns. And, gave me a small sample bottle of mouthwash. An x-ray was done when the dentist and the hygienist saw a questionable area. (It showed no problem in that area. Yay!) My next appointment was scheduled for 6 months ahead. I walked out of the office with a smile on my face. Thank you all!

I had my first visit to Dr. Tabors office yesterday for a general checkup and cleaning. I met Sam, Dr. Steve, Victoria and Eileen and everyone was kind and very thorough with my teeth, from X-rays and explaining what they saw in my X-rays to my teeth cleaning to filing out paperwork. I’m so lucky to have found this office!

When it comes to dental care I expect: 1) To get an honest assessment of the state of my teeth at each dental cleaning, if I like it or not. 2) To be able to trust that I will be told if there is a problem that needs to be taken care of. 3) Be told honestly if something is urgent, or can be taken care of in an year, or can go on the wait and watch list ("take better care of that tooth in the meantime"). 4) Never be told to do stuff that is not really necessary. 5) Be taken serious when showing up with a bad tooth ache and helped until we have figured out what is causing it (which can be something other than a tooth issue). 6) Handle the insurance stuff, especially when problems arise with the insurance. Our whole family has been seeing Dr. Tabor's office for two decades, and he truly deserves five stars.

I had a great first time experience yesterday! Everyone was super kind and welcoming but also very professional. Going to the dentist is definitely one of the MOST humbling experiences ever but they made me feel normal rather than ashamed about certain oral issues I had. As a new patient, I had a wonderful experience! X-rays were taken and the Dr. Steve explained them to me. He also took the time to ask and understand what I wanted in my dental goals. Victoria was my hygienist and she did a great job. Asking about my comfort and explaining to me what she was doing. The whole experience was great.

I was in so much pain and was calling all over the bay area to get seen but everyone kept telling me they weren't taking new patients after I said I didn't have insurance. When I call here at about 11am, told them my story, they got me in at 2pm and after I went home oh so much better. I paid with my credit card and it was money well spent. When your tooth hurt like mine did you'll know what I mean and they help with everything they could. Thank you guys for taking care me!! I've been with doctor Tabor's practice for over 30 years. I am very pleased. If I were not I would never have stayed so long. I even stayed when I moved from Castro Valley to Dublin. It is well worth the drive. He is one of the good ones.

I had two fillings done today by dr. Steve and his beautiful assistant and it was quite painless and effortless on my part. The procedure was efficient and done in a minimal amount of time. It was over before I knew it! The office is clean and neat and staffed with the greatest people you could ever meet. I enjoy coming coming here and that's not something you'd normally say about a dentist office. It's a great practice.

I have been going to have all my dental needs met by Dr. Tabor for the last 20+ years. Just last year I started going to another dental clinic since I am now on Medicare and I am disappointed with the new clinic. In this new dental clinic I was advised to get five crowns which would cost almost $5000. I got a free consultation with Dr. Tabor and he advised me that the crowns were not needed at this time. I will continue to get my dental services at Dr. Tabor’s. He is highly experienced, very professional and totally honest. It is very important to have a dentist who cares about providing you the best services and what you really need and not about his pocketbook.
